Migration Council Australia - Afghan-Australian Community and Settlement Support
We’re incredibly honoured to be a recipient of the Afghan-Australian Community and Settlement Support grant. Through this grant, Huma Media will create a mental health series with the support of health professionals within the Afghanistani community with the hope of raising awareness and removing existing stigma around mental health issues.
Covid 19 Vaccine
In collaboration with Centre for Culture, Ethnicity & Health from Victorian Department of Health, Huma Media proudly presents a special video on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Victoria. In this video, Sabira Nabizada, a registered nurse based in Sydney explains what a booster shoot is, the importance of vaccinating your children and using the Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).
Lois Harris
One of our major sponsors, Lois Harris has been a massive supporter of Huma Media. With her help, we have been able to insert subtitles into some of our videos. We thank her for her support and generosity.
Farzanagan

Shabe Yalda
Shabe Yalda is an annual night long winter festival , celebrated in Mid-west Asia and East Asia in countries such as Afghanistan and Iran. This night marks the longest and darkest night of the year, the festival aims to bring people together and is celebrated with music, dance, stories, and 'Sher Jangi'. In 2021, in collaboration with SABA Group, Shabe Yalda was celebrated with special artists from Melbourne, such as Taqi Khan Hazara. we would like to thank Silkroad for sponsoring this episode.
Census Campaign
In 2021, with the help and collaboration of many other organisations across Australia, we were proud to take part in the census campaign to raise awareness about the importance of participating in the Australian Census. Being correctly counted and represented in the census is important, however, due the lack of support and awareness, many people in our community do not know how to correctly complete the census form and many do not have access to internet and computer
Hazara Builder
Hazara Builder was Huma Media’s main sponsor in Brisbane where a two day seminar was held with a stellar panel of speakers to discuss the current situation of the Hazara people in Afghanistan. We would like to thank Hazara Builder for supporting Huma Media on this important seminar.
